    Let me know when you get here. Both the Garand, and the 1903 are excellent rifles to shoot. The garand spoils you quickly, as you just need to pull the trigger 8 times, and the action absorbs some of the recoil.. I added a muzzle brake, but haven't taken it to the range for comparison to my son's Garand. The 1903 that I have is my fathers. Very nice shooter, however could use to have the scope replaced with a new one. Optics have come a long way in 40 years..

    How have you made out looking for a straight razor? I found one at a local fleamarket, <20$, its old but sharp as a m/f !

    Unalist, in I just retired after 28 years, 4 active duty at Campbell and 24 in the VA Guard if there is anything I can do to help you out during your deployment, just send an Email and I will see what I can do to help. my personal Emails are grgsbds@yahoo.com and gregory.sabados@us.army.mil, I don't know how much longer the .mil will be working though...
