being too dumb to appreciate what netting does for you

with a raft, as vs fishing with ONE hook and line, is not grounds for you low lifes to put-forward your usual bs. All it does is reveal what you are, to anyone who reads your drivel. If you catch 600 lbs of fish before the lake ices up, you wont have to ice fish at ALL in order to last 100 days. I"ve already pointed that out. If you have to "experience" starvation to know that it weakens you, well, What can I say in response to such stupidity? I've been out in the cold, without proper gear, 10x as long as you have. and Ive fasted longer than you have. too.

I don’t remember anyone disparaging nets here...? Nets have been useful to (and used by) all manner of people for millenia.

And I have no idea how long you’ve fasted for. I’ve never done more than a week, but my wife has gone as long as two weeks.

Melvin, do you expect us to feel sorry for you, for the years you slept in a van throughout the winter because you were too lazy to go out and find a decent job so you didn't have to live in the cold?

Ifs are not reality. Have you ever actually done it?

No you havenít been out in the cold without proper gear, you donít have a yard in which to do these things. Iím positive I have more days of sub-zero time than you do. Iím also positive I have more actual days in the field under any conditions than you do.

I donít think about doing things, I go out and do them.

Just got back from three days in the field scouting for deer. We were actually in the outdoors, hiking, climbing, using maps, using optics, etc. I havenít checked to see how many miles we traveled, but Iím willing to bet we covered more ground in three days on foot than you have in five times as many days.

And this was not level ground.

If you actually did stuff, youíd realize how silly some of your posts are.

If, without doing, is simply wishful thinking.
