I could sell them all, right now, for $220 each on E bay. The 1oz coins, some I got at $1700, not so much, and a few I got at $2050 each, i'd barely break even, However, i dont need the money and it was puking me to see the guaranteed loss of $1000 a year if I kept 20k in cash. Inflation is going to be a LOT worse than the 5% that it's averaged per year since we went off the gold standard, and it's going to happen soon, too.

my income is set to increase by 60% by next spring It cost me almost 5k to set it up, but it's going to pay off nicely. Considering the price of ammo already, if Trump can't pull it out, her shooting is going to mostly be done with airsoft and .177 next year. We'll have a garage and a BIG back yard, with a fence, so I can play around with those, to stay sharp.

Somehow all these things are GOING to happen, but they never do. Flophouse, double action black powder revolver, money making Gun Forum, "Wifey" a CRNA, now a SSI 80% increase. Being evicted into a big house with a garage and "large" backyard? The hit's just keep on coming.

Big House with a large yard is very likely in the future. State or federal pen is where he is headed.

23% off (170 / 220) is a decent deal, but not really a steal imo. I'm cheap at heart and am not overly tempted unless something's at least 40% off. Most recent example was a new pair of winter boots. I bought a pair of Bates ToraBora's; normally $300-$350, I paid $86 for them at Woot.com Very happy with that site and recommend it highly.

On keeping cash handy, I'm actually a fan of doing so. Not a lot of actual cash, but money in a rainy-day or emergency-fund bank account. It lets you ride out emergencies and surprises without stressing or borrowing to deal with them. It means giving up growth opportunity, but I think of having liquid cash available as a form of insurance, and insurance is never free.

Practice is important, and to me so is just playing around, and it'll be good when you can do that in your own back yard. It'll be nice to have it convenient like that.

Does that include spending time in prison for letting a felon have guns?

Not a bad place to start; I prefer more, but largely just a difference in comfort-zone levels and situational specifics. We have a lot of expenses (mostly business related), so I like a larger reserve.
