breathable mylar booties atop polypro socks, then other poly socks atop the booties, in unlaced shoes. Worked really well. :-) with the armor, and even wet dry debris kicked up around/under the hammock, the netting and drum liner wraps, daypack around my legs, buttpack over my shoes, gonna be ok at 20F even up in the hammock. Probably ok at 10F seated in the slingchair, too, leanging back against a tree. Certainly will if using the UCO lantern now and then,

I believe there are things a bear won't eat....

I could see him getting tangled up in all of this and either dying of dehydration, or suffocating because he was playing with a plastic bag over his head.

we've gone way beyond absurd - he's trolling, right?

Or OD ing from all the drugs an freezing, what a laugh whoever has to pick the body up would get. Hell they wouldn't even need a body bag with all the plastic wrapped around him.

what's funny, is that with a good under quilt, he wouldn't have to go through the trouble of piling up anything under his hammock.

but that would mean having proper gear.
