You see a scraggly loner; baggy camoflauge pants and wearing a trenchcoat. BUT, the weapons are under cloth, so NO ONE will suspect a THING, huh? Yeah, all of that sacrificing quality and real world performance for conceilment sure paid off, huh? |

He could wear clown shoes to top off the disguise. Then no one would suspect. RIKA ![]() |

See a scraggly looking guy with a backpack and camo pants, now? Not a big deal is it? He could be that guy with a car15 in his pack and pistol in his pocket. Or he could be just any other transient/backpacker guy. See a guy (again NOW not "SHTF") dressed in full camo with LBV, rifle slung across back (or in hand), big belt gun strapped to side and camo backpacks, etc. There will be little doubt what this person is or what he has.... The aforementioned fellow at least has a chance of making it through populated areas without being harrassed or fired upon. The later guy is in for a world of trouble. |

Wasn't shot, wasn't hassled, was maybe given a glance or two, but that's it. Whenever we go coyote or varmint hunting - full camo bdu's, side arms - go into a store or resturant, nobody cares. It isn't that unusual here. Now, I have no doubt that some cities, some areas of the country, that the situation may be different. You just can't make a blanket statement and apply it everywhere. I live in an open carry state. I also have a ccw. People are armed here. it's NORMAL. ![]()

Of course theres areas where neither the backpacker nor the camo guy will get into trouble. I seriously doubt that the backpacker guy is likely to get bothered in your town either. But in many (if not most) suburban and urban areas a guy in full camo with guns is gonna get ALOT more attention than a fellow with a backpack who looks kinda scraggily. ![]() |

Bill, I looove your new song - and you wrote it yourself! I can see it now. A MELVIN TV show. Melvin action dolls. Melvin stress toys. Gee, a whole new industry is born. Melvin can make personal appearances too and lip-sync his song while strumming his guitar cleverly disguised as a canned CAR. My mind is overwhemed - I think I may go blind. RIKA |

Am I the only one who caught this? He's constantly peeing himself over the ever-shrinking CAR being the uber-SHTF weapon, and now it's not for SHTF at all.

Hey Todd, You ever hear from Blain. I know that he was over at HCT and then migrated to Battlerifles where he complained that he couldn't shoot his M1A and wanted some one to personally instruct him. Then he disappeared. Maybe he grew up ... or was eaten by a reptoid. ![]() RIKA |

No I have not seen him online in awhile. When he was on PN I chatted with him about weapons a few times. I heard about the reptoid theory of his but never directly from him and honestly don't know if he still belives in that stuff or not. Sort of reminded me of that tv series "V" from the 80's. |

The only quibble that I would have with you kit, is the Mini-mag flash light. I have had so much trouble with the Mini-mags that I have switched to the SUREFIRE M2 CENTURION. Other than that, everything you have chosen is absolutely first rate. |

I've been carrying the same Mini mag for 9 years now 5-7 days a week, only needed to change the bulb 3 time. I love mine.

Thats very good service. In fact really good service. There is one setting here at my computer desk, that has had a dozen, or more bulbs in it, since I bought it. I can't trust it at all. Maybe the bulbs I bought were out of a bad batch, I have bought bulbs in the past, a half dozen at a time. |
