O2, acetylene bottles r everywhere,FAR more

effective bombmaking materials than fertilizer or blackpowder. EASY to hijack a truck of same,or bust into weldking supply place and load up.they'll HAVE a forklift right THERE,man. Many a small town has such a place, and ONE cop on duty at night. Just flag him down, deal with him FIRST,u got allnight to take the gas-bottles.

No need of even SMALL amounts of blackpowder, even for detonators. Even if you DID, you could easily use the powder from firecrackers, to detonate a pipe bomb of Bullseye, (taken from .45 acp ammo,if need be) and let THAT detonate the gas bottles. Hell, you could crack open each of the O2 and Acetylene bottles, set an egg timer for 5 minutes, walk away. :-) A motorcycle battery WILL generate enough juice to MELT the coil spring from a common "click it' ink pen. That little spring gets WHITE hot when it melts, will easily detonate any contained gunpowder, ignite an open can of gasoline, etc. The guy needn't really CARE if he's successful or not. Just the ATTEMPTwill have a very desirable effect (from his point of view, anyway).

Acetylene is inherently unstable, even when stored in acetone. Pressurized gas cylenders also need to be handle with care, even if it's argon or CO2. If you go through with your plan, I thoroughly believe that you'll blow yourself to smithereens.

84 C4 - does smithereens mean there is hope for normal, law abiding people?

There's always hope for law abiding people, even hope for people who routinely break the law. What there isn't hope for, are people who advocate/do expose themselves to unnecessary risk for the completion of illusory objectives and pointless goals.

You can break man-made laws all you want with a fair chance or getting away with it, as they are but artificial, abstract creations.

You try breaking the laws of physics and nature and the fail-safes God built into the universe will eliminate you as a defective component.

In the natural, unbreakable law of the universe, foolishness is a capital crime and the penalty is usually death.

While on my EOD course in 1985, we toured a police forensic lab, kewl place. they spent almost an hour showing us slides of their cases where the bomber did himself in due to lack of knowledge. A fitting end for them.
