with all your practice, what CAN u do?

from ccw belt rig, now. Covered by REALISTIC garment, too. FASTENED shut coat,or shirt covering the gear. Hand start positions to be VARIED, using parade rest, crucified, hands at sides, "surrender", hands clasped at centerline of body. 10" circle the ONLY scoring device for chest hits, a 5"x8" head the target size for designated head shots.

Here's what MATTERS. Average under .85 second for reaction, draw, chest hit, at arm's length, 3 tries,

Average under .60 second, react, raise from low ready, hit chest, 10 ft. 3 tries

Average under .80 second, react, raise from low ready, hit head, 10 ft. 3 tries. Average no more than 1 second flat, strong hand only. 3 tries Average no more than 1.2 second, weak hand only. 3 tries.

Average under 1.25 seconds, react, draw, get 2 chest hits, 5 yds, 3 tries. average under 1.5 seconds, strong hand only. 3 tries

Average under 1.5 seconds, react, draw, get one chest hit on each of 2 targets, 5 yds away, 3 yds apart, edge to edge. 3 tries.

Average no more than 1.5 seconds react, draw, hit chest, as target MOVES, side to side, towards shooter, away from shooter, average range 10 ft. Done in "dark house", arranged with 2 layers of black sheet plastic. 4 tries without a flashlight, 4 tries first illuminating the target before firing. For the last 4 tries, average under 2.o seconds.

React, draw, hit chest at 10 ft, as move toward the target, back away from the target, move to left, move to right. 4 tries, 1 in each direction. Average under 1.5 seconds.

React, draw, as use a club(in weak hand) to strike down a post, fall back supine, hit chest-target. Start at arm's lenth from the target. Average under 2 seconds. Feet and butt must be on the deck when fire. 3 tries.

The ranges, target sizes, times listed above are realistic. If you can't match them, you aint fast enough for skill to be the determinant of your survival, if faced with such challenges. Only luck will save you. Of course, you MAY need a lot of luck even if you ARE this fast.

Explain to me how any of this abstract speculation is going to be how you survive in the wilds?

In a real crisis situation it'll be 99.99% fieldcraft and .01% gunfighting.
