Hunting seasons a long way off, but I thought I would throw this out there anyway. What's your favorite load for the game birds? Federal No.6's and 7 1/2 's left big holes in the patterns, so I switched to Remington High Brass that seem more consistent.

I"ve taken far more with a pellet rifle than I ever did with a shotgun. But the hunting was year round, which makes doing so rather easy.

When I still hunted birds, I preferred #5 shot.
