Bushmaster Carbon Update

My Nephew got his rifle back from Bushmaster, they replaced the upper with aluminum. Has anyone heard if the carbon lower's are experiencing this same failure? He's not real confident in his rifle right now.

My own knowledge of plastic/polymer/graphite lowers on AR pattern weapons is almost nonexistent-barring of course the negative reviews from users over the long term.

FordPerfect's brother in law bought a brand new one at BPS last year, out of the box the operating rod would not pull, bolt was hitting the the buffer tube wrong, BPS would not do a thing about it or give him another rifle so he had to bring it 200 miles to me to fix. Only took about two hours to get it shooting. Not the only Shrubmaster have seen that was total trash. New guns out of the box! Where is quality control? Oh, thats right there isn't any.

Tbh the only one I'd trust is the Cavarms/GWACS Lowers.
