Remington/UMC Question

Has anyone ever seen any type of Remignton/UMC, Yellow Box or Green/White, made in Mexico or any other non-USA orogon?

I mean seen with their own 2 eye balls and not heard of via the error-net.

I knw it's not uncommmon for Wichester/USA to farm out certain cartridges, like Izzy .223 or Czech 7.62x54R, but has Remigton ever done so?

I've never saw any Remignton/UMC made in mexico. Aguila is quality ammo made in mexico.

Yep, I know.

Been hearing some BS on a few other forums about it beng made in Mexico, well some of it.

I never kept up with the whole history of UMC ammo but I never ever heard of them farming out work South of the border.

So I figure it's error-net bull squeeze.

I'd always heard that UMC was made in Korea.

Go figure.

No but a lot of PMC was or still is. Considering the "UMC" and "PMC" sound so familiar. I can honestly see how word like that can get around.

In fact since PMC has at a few times contracted out things like .22 ammo to Aquilia(SP?) of Mexico I can begin to see the possile confusion there also.

And I'm not saying it's a bad thing in either case as long as QC is kept to SAAMI specs.

That's the one that I was thinking of.

I haven't seen PMC ammo in a long time.
