Won't go into numbers specifically, but I have too many; and that's on purpose. When the 1994 AWB went into effect, I had something like 6 or 8 AR magazines iirc. Plenty enough for general use, but considering that there was no way to know that the AWB would ever go away meant that for years, those eight were all I'd have, all I'd have to give my kids, etc. (This was 20+ years ago, and my sons were still young.)

I've mentioned before that it's not necessarily because it's a gun thing; it's because of the political realities of BEING a gun thing. There have been (and continue to be) talks of manufacture bans, purchase limits, and ludicrous per-each taxes on gun-related things, that we don't encounter on most other free-market items. If there were repeated threats of bans and purchase limits on bandaids or boot socks, I'd absolutely maintain a ludicrous number of bandaids and boot socks too; it's simply that.

Will we ever face a non-expiring version of that awb where "all you have now is all you have forever"? Don't know, but I'm not a gambler either. So, I have what can only be described as 'too many', and plan to always be able to say that.

if you need very many, it'll be cause you're shooting soldiers, so there will be plenty of AR mags to pick up from the dead. So why sweat it? If you aint gonna fight, you'll just give up your guns when push comes to shove. Since all you pussies just ASSUMED that's what i'd done in CO, it means that's what YOU"D do if the guns were made illegal for you.

I didn't assume anything one way or the other, I read a newspaper report. No mention of any resisting arrest, no brawl, no daring escape thru the woods, no magical flying sidekicks, and certainly no shootout.

Again - consider how many times you've been arrested, and then consider how many times you did anything other than surrender when it happened.

You've never met any of us and you assume we're all pussies. Think about that when throwing around the concept of ignorant assumptions.

I'd like to believe his stories of heroics, but that pesky Inmate Central File of his say's something totally different.

I've got P-mags in both 20 and 30 round persuasion. My little Bushie M4 (with a fixed stock) which I've had for maybe 20+ years, keeps a 20 in the mag well and a 20 in the buttstock mag pouch. Mighty handy that way!

My Colt M4 though uses only 30s.

C'mon John. You say I lie; what did I lie about...? More than 4300 posts on this forum now, over a 14 year period, all (unlike you, you whiny twat) under the same username; so it should be VERY easy to point out my lies.

Well, it would be if there were any. But there aren't. Twat.

Tell me, John. Do you miss your big strong prison boyfriends at night?

you lied many times about some PO calling me at the halfway house I went crying. Nothing of the kind ever happened, and you should know better. I ran twice and would always run, given any sort of warning like that. anyone who "thinks" that I dont keep stuff and money stashed where I can access it, 24-7, doesn't know a thing about me.

Nope. Never happened. Don't know if you're making it up intentionally, hallucinating, or confusing me with someone else (I suspect you're confusing me with someone else because of the hallucinations), but I've NEVER said a parole officer called you at a halfway house. Not even once; much less "many times".

One benefit of keeping the same username is that it makes it easy to search back and see whether I actually said something or not. The only post of mine (over the course of 14+ years) that even contains the word "halfway", is this one:

https://armslocker.com/survival/6257...tml#post281330

Nowhere did I say you got a phone call at the halfway house. Never once mentioned a PO, either. The only halfway house reference was this, where I specifically said:
Quote:
"I have no personal knowledge of his 'escape' other than what he's made public over the decades, but it's always sounded something like:
- walked away from a work assignment and didn't report back to a halfway house at the end of the day..."
There you go. Specifically saying I can't say for sure, just going off of what you yourself have said for years. So no, I have NOT "lied many times" about a parole officer calling you at some halfway house.

I even openly said:
Quote:
I could be wrong, and frankly have never spent hardly any energy or effort looking into it because it's pretty much irrelevant to my world.
Right there again, saying up front that I didn't know for sure; simply to be extra careful to NOT intentionally spread info I wasn't sure of as something of certainty.

Try again. You keep calling me a liar. Show one lie that I've told about ANYTHING; doesn't even have to be about you. Because if you can't, you've AGAIN publicly demonstrated how wrong you consistently are. One lie, John. Just one.

Or maybe do the grownup thing and admit that you made a mistake & it wasn't me that said that.

I wanna hear the story about the meter maid.

It's either a hot game of Cop & Felon, in which case she'll be wearing thigh-highs, (which I'll need to see) or boati is a coward.
