wtf would garnad know about AR

quality arm or not? He "thinks' SA .44 mags amount to a crap as a defensive handgun, and he ALSO "thinks' that slowfire plinking=defensive skill-building.

Garand gets out and shoots in a number of disciplines. You sit in a chair typing on a keyboard and don't shoot. There is no comparison.

I carried the Canadian Version of the M16 from 1986 to 2002 and I've owned an Olympic AR 15A2 and an Armalite M15A2 that I was shooting this morning. Gunkid, what did you shoot this morning??

Oh the memories! Actually back at this time I had a retired friend (may he rest in peace), who went to the local range almost every day during the spring, summer and fall and shot 50 rds of .45 Colt out of his 2nd generation Colt SAA. This meant that if he fired for 180 days throughout the year, he would have shot around 9,000 rds. Given that amount of practice, I'm sure he could have defended himself against 1 or 2 opponents in the moment.
