Today

Had a great four hours at the range today, nobody got shot in the foot or belt buckle, no lights got shot out. Just the normal fun time even if cool (43 degrees) , One of the weekenders here at the lake came down from up North an we tested his Glock that I rebuilt.
Mel or whatever fake name an ID you are using at this time to try an hide, when did you last get to a real range?
My Glock 19x with a Storm Lake barrel will hold 2" at 22 yds, 15 shots, with the factory barrel 4 1/2"

I just finished another 500 rds of pistol ammo and 500 rds of rifle ammo for my wife, for matches next year. I've got 3,300 rds of .38 spl built for her so far, hope it's a normal shooting season.

Getting a little low on 38spl, down to a little over 2000 rds. Need to cast before long, 158 gr. SWC, doesn't take long with two 10 cavity H&G molds. Pots empty fast with them. Also need a couple buckets of 9mm, Lyman 121 gr, TC. Then some number 68 PB for the auto rim. Need some 245 gr. SWC for the 44s. 45LC have plenty. Maybe in the next few days.

I've got at least another 2,000(cast & TMJ) more .38's loaded if I want to practice with the match back up guns. When shooting in the winter indoors I try to stay away from cast lead ammo, to minimize the effects of elevated blood lead levels. I've got about 1,500 .38 TMJ's left to load for Wednesday mornings and about 400 .44 240 grain TMJ's, Unfortunately .45 LC TMJ's are like trying to find a needle in the hay stack up here lately, so it looks like it will be spring before they see the light of day again. I need to load at least 350 more .45 acp for next years matches also.

No gun stuff for me lately, just work stuff and family stuff. But it’s all good; if we get the business sold it will free up time to do more fun stuff.

I watch the wife practice every month, punks. She can cast 1000 slugs an hour with the plumber's furnace, big dipper, and the two 6-cavity molds. she sizes and lubes them just as fast. So that's 500 bullets per hour. She loads just as many per hour with the progressive press. She keeps everything in a storage unit, so all is legit. The place she practices is so close, we just take both cars. On my advice, she got 5k each of components for the 9 and the .22lr. She's buried in work and school, especially now that so many where she works test positive for the virus. They have to stay home for 2 weeks and she gets the overtime to cover for them.
