u dont have to engage men in cars, or cover-users
all you have to do is prevent guys from outflanking your cover. When they leave cover, you have an exposed torso to shoot at. You can't reliably (enough) hit a bobbing head around cover. All you'll do is fire lots of richocheting misses, any one of which can result in a lawsuit that ruins you for life.
Punks with handguns are almost zero threat to you as you run/dive laterally for cover, beyond 10m. It's stupid of you to PRACTICE standing there, fully exposed, missing people for many seconds in a row. Which is what WILL happen if you're trying to engage more than one guy at 10m, or one guy at 15+m. There is no reason to gaf about your inabily to reliaby hit the 10" vitals circle at more than 50 ft. There's LOTS of reasons to care about your inability to react, draw from concealment and hit 2 men at 10 ft in 1 second. So THAT is what you need to be practicing. It's cheap and easy to do so with airsoft and a timer.
It's actually pretty easy to react, ccw draw from a pocket(starting hand in pocket of a pair of slacks or pants with cargo pockets and hit the vitals circle at 10 ft in .75 second and then traverse over and hit another pos in .25 second. if he's not more than 6 ft to the side of the first one.
If you cant see trouble coming 3/4 second ahead of time and get your hand in your pocket and on the gun butt. i suggest that you just keep your hands in your pockets any time you're in a place thats of any risk to you at all. You mos certainly CAN make such a draw, from a proper pants pocket holster while belted into your car. What you do is roll over onto your weak side butt cheek/hip, and mostly straighten out your strong side leg. this gives your hand ready access to the gun-pocket.

Heads don’t really bob or move around when they’re scanning for a threat or trying to shoot you.
How many fire fights have you been in ?
You keep posting weird stuff that doesn’t line up with reality...
Why do you think people will just stand there?
Again, how many fire fights have you experienced, personally?

Because the lots of ricocheting misses sounds an awful lot like your "nobody can shoot long range without wind meters", or the "1 in 100 men" crap you've proven wrong about.
Must hurt to know there are 12 year olds shooting long range and killing game that you claim is impossible to do.
you're able to write "war and peace" when it comes to the stuff you've never done in the field, but you can't put a decent post together about tactics or even spell out the scenario we're supposed to get via osmosis or something.
in my version of them using cover, we''ll simply call in mortars to take them out. Or the other guys I'm with will flank them. Or maybe the scenario is more local and I'll get my buddy with the Vietnam era flamethrower (it's awesome), to burn them out. Same guy also has a Ma Duce mounted on a jeep. The .50 basically says "F your cover, and F you!"
see what happens when you start in the middle of the conversation? without knowing WTF you're talking about, it's a a joke. We can game the half-assed scenario to fit our rules and our rules are 100% valid.

When you shoot Pet's you can use whatever tactics you wish. Mail Box for cover when challenging Pekinese, Garbage can for Siamese Cat, the opportunities are boundless.
