New CZ Compact withy combo magazine?
After seeing not much in three big box outdoors I came upon a CZ Compact for $550.00. Not a steal, but not a gouge either. Here's the thing. It came with two 15 round 9MM. Or two 11 round .40 magazines. I've not seen that before. A magazine designed for two calibers? Or do I need to get out more?

During the standard capacity magazine ban as part of the '94 AWB I heard of people using 10rd .40S&W magazines for 9mmP in some pistols.
Maybe CZ took the idea and officially applied it?

I wonder if it will also feed.357 Sig...or if a
40/.357 Sig/9mm set of conversion barrels are offered either way.
357 Sig CZ75 steel frame that could step down through
40 to 9mm all from the factory would be on my" want list"

When I first pulled the P01 (a version of the CZ75 Compact) that I recently bought out of its box, about the first thing I noticed was that the bottom witness hole on the side of the magazine showed "11 rds .40". I thought the gunshop had ordered the wrong gun until I confirmed that the pistol was indeed a 9mm. So as I was thinking 'how did they pack a .40 gun with 9mm magazines?', I saw on the other side of the magazines it says "15 rds 9mm".
Caught me by surprise, but they work fine. I know guys on other forums say they often use 9mm & 40 magazines interchangeably for caliber-conversion kits in glocks, although I've never tried it myself.
Fwiw, I'm nearly positive that the factory CZ magazines that came with the gun are made by MecGar. I bought a couple MecGars to have some spares, and they're just identical, from finish to floorplate to even the same unusual blue follower color. I've only put probably 300-400 rounds thru the gun yet, but the magazines have functioned flawlessly so far.
