about anything, much less about some post on the net. I"m not playing any bs games about I can 'only have' one gun. There's no way that you can cover all the needed bases with less than 2 guns and if you want to be really good and versatile, you'll need 3. You need the silenced AR and .22 unit, and a pocket 9mm pistol and if you're young and still need to shoot a lot, you'll also need a very similar 9mm belt gun, cause the pocket 9mm's can't stand up to the 1/4 milllion rds you'll need to shoot in order to get and stay proficient. I would not subject the pocket sig to nearly that much shooting, not even thru the .22 conversion unit, cause its slide stroke is so short, and it's got an aluminum frame. Even with the Commander and using the .22 unit for 3k of your 5k of rds per year, you'll probably have to replace the frame several times, Guns just dont hold up to hundreds of thousands of rds of full powered centerfire ammo, especially not alloy framed guns. i'd do my usual mod of the frame and the mainspring housing of the commander, of course, to relieve the stress normally put on the frame, right below the MSH retainer pin.

When Siefried was putting 100,000 rds per year (full charge .45 ball dupe loads, supposedly, using 230 gr cast bullets) he kept TWO of Packmayhr's 1911's going. One he was shooting, one being rebuilt every 6 months or so. He did this for 5 years, in his search to be the IPSC world champ. He placed 3rd in 1979 and won in 1981, the last time that title would be won without comps, mag well funnels, etc. If you're not going to conceal it, I say that having such mods on your gun is a LOT more practical than shooting 300 rds per day, every day, eh? :-) That's what he insisted that he did.

Melvin you are the only one putting limits on your life through your own foolish choices in life.
Argue all you want with your half assed libertarian/anarchist views.
But your situation is of your own doing I give you that much!

His views are 'libertarian' about his chosen toys, but are totally tyrannical about topics that he doesn't have a stake in. He wants silencers and cocaine to be unregulated, yet has said that people who smoke cigarettes should be to be put to death.

He's Libertarian the way Hitler and Stalin were libertarian.

Melvin, you are the architect of your own misfortune. You are the one that caused limits to be put on your life. People that post here (except for you) own dozens and dozens of real firearms, while you play with your airsoft. You can't blame anyone else for your failing, but yourself.

I ignored this hypocrisy initially, but I'm bored. Quoted so it doesn't disappear:

So you now admit that a person DOES need to shoot in order to stay proficient at shooting. After your repeated claims of "it's okay that I don't actually shoot, because I shot good in the 1970s" that we've heard and laughed at for so many years, it's good to see you finally acknowledge this obvious truth.
