Taurus Give away?

Shopping for Stocking Stuffers mostly, the major damage is done. I went by the firearms section and saw Taurus Spectrums going for $119.00. I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't a Jennings or something of that ilk. The sales guy who I know slightly say's he sold about a dozen of them in the last week, usually with at most two boxes of ammunition. I've encountered this before. A rash of home invasions or parking lot purse snatches and it's time to arm up. Getting back to the Spectrum, are they really that bad? Taurus has made some real trash but I hadn't heard the Spectrum was a Dog. Most of these will be shot a few times and thrown a drawer anyway.

I'd take a look at their G2 and G3( the latter appearing more useful to me at least).
Taurus is always a QC roll of the dice.

Taurus Spectrum all gone. They sold 30 in eight day's. I had to settle for a Springfield Hellcat. I haven't shot it yet. Smaller than I;m used to. I'll do a report with pictures soon.

Not familiar with the Spectrum other than seeing pictures of it, but I've been completely happy so far with their TX22.
