- - Sig 365

Picked up a 365 Sig today, two 10 rd. mags an a 12 rd. Had to run to range an test, no problems. Pics when camera battery charges a bit. Only load I tried was 4.5 Unique with 120gr. TC bullet. Shot maybe 1in. to right but did not feel like moving sight today. It is going to replace 938 Sig as soon as test it a little more. Lot better gun than 938.

After close to a month shooting the 365, decided that needed another one, ordered it tonight. Best small 9mm I have found. 10+1, 12+1 and a 15+1 mag in a pocket 9mm that is way more accurate an dependable then 938 that I had before. Same size but lot lighter. Better sights an trigger pull out of box. IWB is like it is not there, one will be on left side an other in left pocket.

The 365 seems like the way most handguns are going nowadays - striker fired, increased capacity, no manual safety (or at least, rarely a manual safety), polymer and lightweight. Likely will be a good gun; let us know how it does in the long run.
It's funny, because when I first got into guns, most of the commonly encountered striker-fired guns were the cheap junk like Ravens and Bauers and such. Nowadays, some of the best ones out there are striker fired.

Only negative report's on the 365 are from people that don't like the polymer striker fired concept on anything. I am satisfied with the metal framed hammer fired CZ's both P-01 and CZ 97 for carry, but the G17 also works for me though I'm not crazy about it. Carrying TWO 365's? Your very prepared.

The one I just ordered has the manual safety, nice you can get them either way.
In approx. 800 rounds thru the first one, not even a hint of malfunction of any kind.

Both triggers have been replaced with Sig's straight trigger from the XL. Did not like the curved.

Still working 100% reliable?

Not a hint of a problem with either.

I am kinda interested in the XL... I tend to prefer a certain minimum barrel length for some calibers... both for the sight radius and a little better ballistics. For me,at least; flatness and a narrower width have a bit more importance regarding concealment than making the barrel and slide shorter.
Just a matter of personal preference.

The 365 XL is nice but a little big to drop in a pocket. Handled one, like it,been thinking about one.
