serious defect in P938, no reason for it, either

the mag lips are a good 3/8" too short, so whenever you remove a loaded mag from the gun, the top round almost always strips off. That is bad, bad news if you ever have to do a tactical reload, potentially causing a bad delay in your mag swap and perhaps even malfunctions. I thought that a speed load with the slide locked back would cause the top round to pop loose, but she has not had this happen as of yet. I see the .22 units for this gun for sale for $160, and the spare mags (police trade ins) for $20. So wifey might one day find out if it can be made to run. She's had a good teacher about how to spot and fix problems.
