how's the G43 better than the CM9?

Wifey's Kahr is a very fine gun, and she got it for $250 out the door, too! It's nearly worthless for dryfire practice, tho, since the trigger doesn't reset unless the slide moves. When my bud was shooting the G19, he found the dingus in the trigger to be very distracting.

So how is wifey's shooting coming along? How many matches has she shot in the last 6 months? How many rounds of ammo is she putting down range each month? How does she like using your "poor mans" survival gear?

Main reason I bought a G43 was simply the lack of top-quality aiwb holsters for the CM9/PM9 series. There are some decent ones, but I wanted something specific that simply didn't exist at the time.

The 43 is my primary carry gun now; usually in a T-rex raptor holster. If the raptor or similar had been available for the Kahr, I probably wouldn't have even looked at the 43.

Didn’t take the time to ask earlier, but what changed your mind from your previous beliefs?

I didn't, really, but she hated the idea of a cocked and locked gun in her fannypack. She's gotten over that now, the CM is gone and she has a Micro9 Kimber. She got advanced enough with her Sig 1911 22 and the 9mm Alloy commander that she eventually realized what a handicap DA triggers are, especially for petite women.

g43 just aint a pocket gun. The Kimber barely is. She's probably going to get a sig P938 .22 unit and make it work on the kimber. Since Joe is too inept to do so, it will be satisfying for her. :-)

Yeah, I don't pocket-carry the G43 or the Kahr either one. It's doable, but not ideal by any stretch. Just seems like most any glock is seen as a bad thing to you; maybe I'm wrong on that.

You try to be nice...

Those quotes of yours above range all the way from 2006 up to 2015. Yet in the middle of that time you said your 'pocket 9' was the Kahr CM9.

How does that jive?

Quoted so it doesn't disappear.
