with an adjustable sighted Ciener .22lr conversion unit. Her next will be the AR. not because I want it to be that way, but because Obama's exec order is going to drive the prices crazy.

To prove she and the gun really exist.

RIA/Armscor gives good value and service for money...Good choice. I kind of prefer full sized 1911's,but there's nothing wrong with the 4.25 inch guns. Especially the steel frames.. I know it's a quirk with me,but there's only been a couple of aluminum/alloy frame guns I liked;and none were 1911's.
Even my 9x18 mm stuff- I just never could warm up to the PA63 someone offered me some years back when they ran under $100.00... I spent the extra $50 and got the P64 instead.

it's too heavy and bulky for ccw for her, for me too, basically. it's a training and match gun. why risk having aluminum crack or have the extra recoil, when the weight and durability is what is sought? Besides, steel framed is the way it was found. :) Aluminum would have had to be special ordered.

So the Sig 938 was written off?

Cost and time wise I can see getting the RIA one for now.

I've eyed one of the other RIA models in the combo of 9mm/22TCM for a specialty pistol but they don't make one with the features I want yet. And some with too many.
I could just get the plain jane one and add better sights. Dose not matter right now as I've got more firearms projects to do before that.

My wife loves my 9mm Colt Combat Commander, and I have posted pictures of both!
