better have a dial caliper and a known-good frame to compare to, and all the parts to check fit. Browning's original diagrams are not very detailed or organized.
ares armor sells 80% finished 1911's, too
most of the exterior radii and dimensions don't matter, such as the tang around the grip safety. shape it to fit your chosen beavertail and call it good.
