Foaming Bore Cleaner

I've never tried it. I read somewhere you can clean with solvent until your bore looks perfect, then use Outer's Foam and a patch will come out dirty. Anyone use this?

I'll try this again. What do you use to clean and lubricate your guns? I mean Hunting, Combat Rifles, Handguns and airsoft. Some people swear you can Hoppe's a bore forever, them use Outer's Foam and the patches will show more fouling. True?

Never used the foaming stuff. Almost always use Powder Blast for cleaning and CLP for lube. Used to use Hoppes, but powder blast is quicker & easier.

One caution is that powder blast will discolor some plastics - it gave the black plastic grips on my P64 a marbled appearance. Never has bothered my M&P, glock, or lcp plastic frames.
