tried kit gun sights on 380 Star pony

but I had to convert them into the k38 style. the back and forth shock of an auto's slide really is too much for either one of those revolver sights. Today, i"d just make a rear sight out of key stock, or order a rear sight for S&w's model 2214. and adapt that to the 380.

Today's guns typically have decent sights, but the Keltec .32 and 380 and the Ruger copies of same have some pretty sucky rear "sights". Despite the intended use of such guns and the reality of 10 ft brain hits being the max accuracy actually needed/deliverable while under fire, (reliably) I still like decent sights/accuracy, so I can hit some critters with it and evaluate how the loads do on flesh and blood. i really enjoy such hunting./testing, too.

yes, the Sig 380 is very close to being the same gun, maybe a bit smaller, and quite a bit lighter, due to the alloy frame
