Shot a match today

My wife and I shot a 6 stage match earlier today, I came 10th overall, she came 9th overall. My overall time was 285.28 second, hers was 284.88 seconds. She beat me in overall time by 4/10 of a second. She started competing 11 years ago and I'm so proud of her abilities.

Competition is fun; I don’t do it anymore, but enjoyed it when I did.

My son and I did some shooting today, mainly him running a few hundred rounds of 147’s thru the new Banshee on steel plates. The short 5” barrel keeps 147’s subsonic, and with the suppressor the gunshot was actually quieter than the bullet impact. Our other son is coming tomorrow, so will probably get to do it all again, weather permitting.

Its been a nice way to spend our summers together (during normal times). For most weekends between the beginning of May and the 2nd week of October we travel over 2 provinces and 2 states. Plus it keeps my wife shooting when see could be doing her craft stuff.
