Anyone use Riton scopes?

I'd never heard of them until recently, but they seem to get very good reviews. Reason they caught my attention was I've been wanting a variable scope to replace a red dot on a .22 rifle, and woot has them on clearance.

Just curious for info/feedback on them; other than the online reviews I've found, I'm not familiar with them.

They're based out of Tuscon, and a lot of shops here in the Phoenix area cary them. They seem to be pretty decent. a lot of the shops are talking them up...

They have a 2-7x32 with a BDC reticule specifically calibrated for .22LR use, marked down to $99 so I ordered one. Allegedly (as I understand it), based on a 75 yard zero the other indicators are for 100, 125, and 150 yards. That will obviously vary by ammo, but might be a good thing. It's not illuminated; the third knob is parallax adjustment.

We'll see how well it does, but I was very surprised at the near-universal positive reviews on them. I'd literally never heard the name before a week ago.

Will likely be a while before I use it at all, but wanted to snag the deal while it was available at that discount.

A .22LR AR 16" carbine:

It's had the red dot on it as long as I've had it, but a couple years ago I put together a pistol version 22LR AR. After putting together the pistol version, I started thinking about putting a variable scope (1-5 or 2.7 or so) on the rifle. Never pursued it actively, but catching these on sale with the .22LR-specific BDC reticule was too good a deal to pass up.
