title of yt vid is the most dangerous punch. He breaks 3" thick stack of boards with one punch, horiztonal, not downward.

Obviously, it's for the same reason that ruminations about martial arts instructors from the previous century get posted in the 'new users' forum.

Do try to keep up.

maybe they are really old boards?
(Thus making them relics)

Not dissing the martial artist because it is still impressive, but that stack is blatantly 'staged' for lack of a better term.

All the boards are horizontal which is to be expected, but they're also oriented so that the growth-rings are facing out to the back side, making it the easiest possible way to break. (The probability of all five of them facing the same direction is less 3%, so I don't believe it's random or accidental.)

Secondly, there are actually wedges at the top front causing a pre-stress toward the rear, forcing it to 'want' to go that direction before he ever does anything.

Again, still an impressive display, but nowhere near the same as doing it without the staging.
