The C82 got around

I was surprised to find out the CZ82, my favorite C&R pistol, was used by North Korea, Israel and Viet Nam. It's always a wonder how firearms get around. Remember the Colt SAA's in .38 Special that served British pilots in WWII?

there's 9mm's that are smaller and lighter. Why hit half as hard, when 9mm is marginal as to power, especially from a 3" barrel?

Closer to a 4 inch barrel, and there's a WIDE range of 9x18 loadings available. Some are hotter than others(and NOT safe for all guns). But,in general; they're accurate, reliable; and bit sufficiently hard to change someone's plans.

what's the appeal? $100 cheaper? I've several times seen 380's to the chest have no effect at all on a coon or chuck, for several or many seconds, to include jhp's. So I think your "faith" in 9x18 being "enough", is misplaces. If it was enough, a .22lr would have been enough, too. That guy was just easy to stop, that's all. i don't trust full bore plus p jhp's if they are 125 gr or higher, from 4". cause they dont expand reliably in critters.

A well made gun,MUCH stronger than a blowback ought to be( but just like my Makarovs and P64 benefit from Wolff Gunsprings sets) that's VERY accurate, reasonable to carry and FUN to shoot. Basically, a " Cadillac of the Combloc blowback guns".

Louisville slugger has been used by many noted people. Babe Ruth, scarface al, etc. Does birds and crook have a lot of them to sell, or what?

If you had ever shot one, you would know. 12 shots of 9X18MM will out do most .380's out there. The CZ82's are sooo much more accurate than the "pocket" .380
's I have shot. No comparison.
