Mag, I got the M1 wood, new from Gun Parts Corp about 10 years ago. What you see is a lot of time spent rubbing with Tung oil. Whats was that Gunkid used to say about us not being able to own firearms???

I prefer to have my wood rubbed with tongue oil. . .

But seriously, that's a nice looking stock. Was it a handpick or something, or did you just get really lucky with what they sent you?

To Kewl brass, by the way 2 of the Vaqueros are in .44 Magnum and the other 2 are in .357.

I finally got it on last Friday, and was shooting it on Saturday. Shoots a bit left, but thats easy to sort out.

COOL!, I'M thinkin' that FIRST PRODUCTION DOUBLE-ACTION SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL!!!,,,is runnin' right around in the $450 price range[under glass,,,of course!]
as thats the last time I recall'FILIN' that info away!

good for you[FRIEND] as I'M GLAD YOU OWN IT!!!


[I ALMOST BOUGHT,,but passed on [1] for $350, about 8-10 years ago, and it was CRAP compared to yours!!!]

Nope, when I phoned in to the CFC, to arrange the transfer paperwork, I was asked why I wanted the handgun. I responded "Competitive shooting". It appears that "Competitive shooting, isn't a valid reason to own a handgun in Canada. I had to phone them back 6 weeks later and tell them that I wanted it for "target shooting"! Now thats a valid reason for buying a handgun. What a bunch of idiots!!!!
