an EMP would wipe out all bitcoin. If you let govt get into crypto currencies, they will be in complete control of your life, if you allow them that power. It would be the dumbest thing you could ever do. I"ll stick with the black market in silver and gold bullion coins, thank you very much. I"ll always be able to buy silver with gold if I had that much silver, I couldn't hide it. Silver's 8x as bulky, and you just can't hide very much of it in safe places. So you'll end up putting it into a bank vault and govt will just steal it all, as they did with gold in 1933. Sure, I wish I'd bought bitcoin when it was $1 a coin. I could have spared 1k to do so ad it would have made me a multimillionaire. However, that's water under the bridge. I saf aint buying it now. I'ts much too volatile. |

EMP's are overrated. they are real, but a lot of stuff will survive. there's some stuff that is more easily damaged than others. but it if a function of a lot of things, like distance from source, length and type of wiring, shielding, and the infrastructure in between, last place I worked at had two hardened data centers with off line storage locked in additional faraday cages. An EMP wouldn't do anything to them. And if they lost one data center, they'd fail over to the other one with a delay of about 15 minutes to be 100% operational again. the data centers were located in AZ and GA. Bitcoin, largely enjoys similar protection. the keys and amounts are kept in hardened locations. Last edited by Dorobuta; 11-23-2020 at 11:03 AM. |

Boati, do you just randomly click until you can enter something? you seem incapable of enough rational thought to post things where they belong. You aren't organized enough to do something this simple, and people are supposed to believe you know anything useful about survival? You're not doing yourself any favors with this crap... |

Hello crypto tycoons! I learned about cryptocurrency from a friend, he invited me to the exchange switchere.com/exchange/usd-to-btc. I really liked it because of its reliability and speed of use. I can quickly convert usd to btc on switchere.com/exchange/usd-to-btc. I disagree with you that this is a joke. You can earn money here, but everything must be done wisely. If you are not versed in financial matters, then you should not start buying cryptocurrency. If you have a desire to learn, then start by reading articles about it. A woman's shoebox will hold nearly $100k of silver, depending on the price of the day. Or $1500-$2000 in a package the size of a hockey puck. If you're trying to hide tens of thousands on your person, that would be a problem. If you're trying to hide millions in your home, that level of bulk could be a problem (and if you're hiding millions in physical silver or gold, you've got other - massive - issues regardless). But for $75k-$100k 'emergency' money, something the size of a shoebox shouldn't be all that hard to hide. |

I don't know. I didn't even notice at first that this was the "classified ads" forum. Too complicated for a self-declared genius to actually be able to figure out how to put it in the 'politics', 'survival', or even 'off-topic' forum I guess... ![]() |
