Jeez Rich, I keep looking at your post of the Opal Motleys. Those are gorgeous snakes. Time to go work on the old man tomorrow and convince him he wants to trade..

Yeah, everyone is telling me that money is tight lately. I am actually surprised that no one has snapped up those Opal Motleys from me. If it weren't for this gun, I wouldn't even be offering them for sale at all. Heck, even if the price drops down to $1K each on them, it's a pretty good bet that you could turn that $4K into $16K in two years. Not very many other ways (legally anyway) you can turn around that kind of an investment.

Which is why I am in no real hurry to sell any of them. Keeping as many of them as I can is better than money in the bank.

One thing I ALWAYS include with my sale of a new morph is the promise that I will not be the first one to drop the price on them.

Dennis,

Did you get my PM on the FaunaClassifieds site? I have a guy that will give me $3K for that pair of Opal Motleys I have for sale. Will your dad give me a break and accept $3K for the gun?

Pretty please.......

Dennis,

I got an email from the guy who bought those Opal Motleys. He says he is going to be putting the money orders in the mail to me tomorrow (Saturday). I also went to a new local gun store here and the guy says he will do transfers, but charges $50 for them.

Man, $50.00 is such a rip-off. People are way too greedy now a days. It's only a couple sheets of paper and may be 10 minutes time for crying out loud.

Does this mean you want it? You didn't respond to my last PM so I figured it was no go. But I know your busy and it may have slipped your mind...lol

-EDIT-

Sent you a PM with my cell number.

Well, I'm actually waiting until I have the money in hand before I make any decision. You know how that goes, I am sure. I have to figure the TOTAL price (shipping, transfer, etc.).

If your dad had accepted my offer, it would be a done deal, but since he countered, that gives me more thinking time before I decide to commit or not. I mean, for that money, I could buy that collectible pair of Snake Eyes Colt Pythons I've been lusting over that's been on GunBroker and GunsAmerica lately.

Dennis,

I just sold my FaunaAuction site, so I have some more money to play with. Tell your dad I'll take the gun. The guy who bought the Opal Motleys said the money orders are in the mail on their way to me.

I'm going to see if I can find another local FFL who won't rake me over the coals on a transfer.

Thanks.

Just spoke with him. He is holding it for you. He also said he will meet you half way on the shipping and insurance.

Thanks Dennis. I'm waiting for the money orders to show up on that snake sale.

How about emailing me your dad's address as well as the total figure I need to send him? If this all falls together, I should be able to get the postal money orders out on Thursday.

I still need to check around for another FFL to do the transfer as well.

Thanks.
