Any suggestions on hunting ammunition in 8MM? To be used in Yugoslavian M48 and M48A's. Thanks.

I've not shot any factory ammo nor did I ever get around to loading for the 8x57mm when I was into milsurps. Myself I'd see if S&B the Czech company has any SP loadings here in the states. I had good luck with their 7.62x54R ammo and got a few reloads out of the brass. |

it's probably widely used for deer and hogs in europe, so sp ammo is doubtless loaded for it, probably by norma. bet it's expensive if you have to settle for Norma ammo.

I still have about 3,000 rounds of ball (corrosive) that I bought for 3 cents a round. Fun to shoot, and I have yet to have a misfire. I'll order a couple boxes of Privi Partisan. I've had good luck with them.

I've had good experience with Privi factory ammo, but I will admit for reloading their brass, wow, its a b!tch at times. Their brass is far harder to resize than other European brands that I have used in the last 3 years.
