u won't have uncle sugar
to chopper you in and out and save your ass if you bite off too much, given shtf. You wont have a nice safe base, 100's of miles from your enemies, to go hide in and rest up, resupply, etc. You aint got dozens of taxpayers to fund you, either. You wont have all day to lie around, and if you're moving, in the open, in daylight firing noisy shots, it's YOU who's likely to be sniped. The entire concept of long range crap is a waste of time and money. Even being interested in it just shows you're scared/inept about sub 200yd stuff, which is where 99% of the killing is done.

It is called flexibility! Something you appear to fail to understand. Plus I don't have "Uncle Sugar" now!
