Stgrange fact about Shotguns

Every serious Hunter/Shooter I know has a minimum of one Shotgun in their battery. Usually a 12 ga., very often a Remington 870 with a long choke barrel and a short open choke barrel. But of course a non firearm owning felon would know more than they.

i know many serious shooters who don't bother to own one. they are considered to be toys, for amusing kids and teaching novice women to enjoy shooting. I doubt that you know ANY serious shooters.

Most of the ones I know carry badges. They're pretty serious about shooting.

Seriously, I doubt you have met a serious COMPETITOR in over 35+ years, yet some of us have shot with some of the best in the world in our chosen disciplines, RECENTLY!

I think that's a bit of a stretch.

2 Gun is becoming popular and consumers aren't buying as many shotguns (ATF Commerce in Firearms Report over the last 4 reporting periods) per rifle purchased.

Ratio of shotgun ownership is going down. That's just a business fact.

SOME people DO learn, given enough time. I never did understand the "reasoning" behind 3 gun matches. Nobody's going to have both a rifle and a shotgun and if you have to choose, only a moron would pick the more limited shotgun for generalized combat use.
