I don't shoot anything heavier than a .223 with a suppressor. Why get your shoulder banged up when a .223 can brain anything on the planet with one shot, no matter what the distance. Besides, there's no .22 unit on a .50 Caliber Barrett., so why bother? : )

HaHa! Honestly these days I only shoot out to 500 yds about twice a year and that is with a .45-70. Over the years though I have held the 6.5x55 mm in awe. It is a great cartridge out to 500 yds and my recent purchase has probably seen at least 2,200 rds through it out to 300 on a regular basis. I love the caliber, decent bullet weight to put down large animals, flat trajectory, accurate (Swedish Olympic caliber until 1938), eats a wide variety of powder and the most important really low recoil.
