Slim cut a truck's fuel & gas lines, 1 shot

He and his bro were hunting coyotes in the truck. Slim had Ronnie's 225 bolt gun muzzle down in the passenger area. He got into too big a hurry, put a rd thru the floor and got both pcs of tubing with one shot. I laughed my butt off when he told me that story. TX boy. He shot himself over something, I never have been able to determine what. He'd made it to captain of the state police. Maybe they were forcing him to retire and he couldn't hack not being a cop. He always did love the power trip. But maybe it was an illness or woman issue.

He was a helluva man. Partially trained him myself. He got a black belt from Moon in 1974. I went to see him the next year and converted him from revolvers to 1911's. The next year, he started IPSC competition and got pretty good. He came up to Ill for a week's 1911 training. I smithed the alloy commander with which he shot a guy in the calf, 200 gr CCI jhp's. He claimed that there was a way to modify M16 mags and make them work in a Mini-14. Never really looked into it myself, since I've always viewed the Mini as being a pos.

I have (and it was insane in its own right); my point is just that "..fuel and gas lines.." is redundant at best.

I have noticed Melvin's post's tend to get the weirdest at the beginning of the month.. SSI check maybe having something to do with that? Non-prescription purchases perhaps?
