mosins r SO effing crude!

the trigger pull and lock time suck so badly. pay to have the bolt bent, trigger job, etc, and you'll have the same money tied up in an old clunker pos that you could get a used Savage, M788 Remington, etc, and have a far better trigger, locktime, and accuracy

when they could be bought for $50, and the ammo was 8x a shot, yeah, maybe, but $150 and 20c a shot, NO!

Here's a link to a comprehensive comparison between the AR15, AK47, and the Mosin that should change your narrow-minded prejudice against the battle-tested Mosin.. http://www.mouseguns.com/compare.htm

I could built a better rifle with junk lying around Randy's garage! Even out of your garage, blindfolded, onehanded.

The attached photo pretty-much illustrates Joe's recent effort to build a better rifle.. Note that the rifle even lacks a bayonet lug.. Clearly, Joe needs to watch "Enemy at the Gate" again..

the nazis only had bolt actions, and the russians lost millions of people because all they had was that stupid mosin and little ppsh squirt guns.

using a bolt action today in combat, has been ludicrous since the advent of the 30 carbine, 70 years and you still aint got the word.

A "bud" of mine (who later messed me over so badly that he's going to get his neck broken over it) "thought" he and his enfield were "almost as fast" for repeat hits as me and my AR. I set up 2 silohuettes, at 25 yds, I was aimed in and waited for him to fire, he fired, I got 6 shots off before he fired again. I got all 6 into the chest, he missed with his (presumbly ) second shot. he said "JESUS!" and I said, "yeah, don't kid yourself about such stuff.
