arming others

if people can't be bothered to spend a mere $100 on a used .22lr auto of some sort, I dont see them as being WORTH saving. Given a cache of male-stud threaded .22 cans, subsonic 60 gr aquila ammo,, a chestplate, egg beater drill and some c clamps, you can counterbore and tap such gun barrels in about 15 minutes. Then such people MIGHT be worth having around. At least, they wont be offering flash and noise for the enemy to aim-at, wont scare off game, wont be flinching from noise and won't be callling in every looter within a mile radius. The cans take about an hour to make at a cost of $3 each for the actual materials. A brass piloted tap drill is good for 4-5 counterbores, before it's worn down too much to be of any help in maintaining alignment of the bore to the silencer.

such cans and the ability to mount them, will be priceless trading material, once shtf. IF that is, you're willing to run the very high risks of disease and treachery inherent in such trading.

of course, you have to have minor machining ability, and the balls needed to DARE to exert your human right to effective self defence. Few do.

Millions do, actually. And that's "Post I" again, for that matter, isn't it..?

And on the balls thing... I know of only one person on this forum who's admitted to being arrested multiple times without putting up any kind of fight, any kind of armed or unarmed resistance, any car chases, or any ballsy thing at all. Other than admitting that he surrendered to a meter maid, that is. That admission took balls I guess.

Once again, if you'd be civil, I would also.

You do realize that in the 21st century there are a lot better ways to make a silencer don't you? An drilling into the barrel ain't it.
