Moved from Hawaii to florida still a felon after 20 years

Ok we moved here being florida from Hawaii. What is the opinion here, I am a non violent felon 20 years ago like to ow n revolver and rifle BLACK POWDER I ALSO NO LIKE STEP ON TOES & NO MONEY TO FIX MY PROBLEM OF GETTING LAYWER TO HELP WITH MY FELON EXPUNGED. PLUS I'M NOT INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO DO IT ON MY OW N.
#1. I would like to own a black powder pistol revolver for home protection, is that bad idea. I'm going with black powder funds are like everyone else tight.
#2.what should I buy best to just pull and shoot Or my wife can also shoot .
#3. Reading how addicting it can get whats a good rifle or sdhotgun t o buy to join a club
Living in Hawaii for 30 years you are in a diff. World. I am asking because of diff cultural views. I am white, my step moom was Carole King until my dad passed away from drug overdose. Background is good I think.

Go to . It's a wealth of case law and useful links-both with restoration of rights/removal of firearms disability and depending on state of jurisdiction/conviction; other venues to gain relief as far as employment,housing restrictions etc.
Also,they may have contacts for attorneys who could better answer specific questions.
