the only people claiming silencer is not major
advantage are those who've never used one in combat or for foraging. it's just nuts to have noise and flash when you don't need to! Once you acknowledge the advantages of a silenced autoloader, you immediately see that the shorty 223 AR and .22 unit are the way to go. the rifle of course has many other advantages, but concealment, rapidfire, luminous sights, chromed bore and chamber, .22, 223 ammo, lw, dark rustproof finish, great accuracy, drop in trigger jobs, GI parts, mags, availability as a stripped lower, 80% lower, parts kits in the mail, QD return to zero scope base, see thru mount, etc, put it over the top. There's just nothing else that's even CLOSE in terms of versatility and utility. it's 2k$ of the finest investment you can make.
