Pheasan'ts and the Dog.

I had a real wonderful time with my Son and faithful young Lab. We bagged 5 Pheasant's in the afternoon on Monday. The Dog was perfect for a still young Dog at just over two years. Never lost a bird even in the wet marshes, she didn't give up until the bird was found. I used my Browning Light Twelve and my Son a Winchester 1200. For me it was more fun watching my Dog work than the shooting. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

I haven't hunted pheasant since the late 70's. It was fun, but it was a long time ago.

I particularly liked your comments on "long pork" and "veal" years ago, along with your talk of how well human bodies work as fuel for starting fires. Seriously cool stuff.

(That was sarcasm, btw.)
