I silenced an alloy framed .22 Walther PPK

in 1985. I did not know how rare that piece was, or I'd not have committed such sacrilege. I let it go far too cheaply, and the new owner got what would be $6000 in today's money for it. 5.5" of silencer and 6.5" of gun, not a bad package size, back then, before I knew about sleeving a can and adding an underchamber. Today, starting with the 1" shorter Beretta M21, the OAL can be 9", and offer 2" groups at 50 ft. That size can be ccw'd under a t-shirt and drawn swiftly. The 12" version needs a trench coat and a shoulder rig. :-)
