What .22 Semi-Auto is the most picky?

No.1 would be the little Tarus PT 22 that I bought my Wife. It will shoot MiniMags all day, nothing else. 2. Bersa T22 and M23, MiniMags and Golden bullet's, Blazer, all good. Chokes on others. Ruger MKII, Ruger SR22, shoot pretty much everything except Federal. The .22 units CZ Kadet and Advantage Arms Glock 21 have not malfunctioned once but they have only been shot with MiniMags and Golden Bullets. The one .22 that I have had the longest and shoots anything reliably except sub-sonic is the Charter Arms Explorer, no kidding! The Whitney Wolverine is tricky. It will run high velocity and then it won't. It will shoot a box of Blazer, then cough on MiniMags. Since I have several .22 revolvers the ammunition gets used whether it works in semi-auto's or not. What are your .22's like?

Have a Rock Island XT22 that will only shoot WW SuperX. High Standard HD Military that only likes Federal SV. Have a couple Smiths that will shoot anything except Rem. and M22 Win. Gave a box of M22 to grandson an it would not work in a 1022 an they shoot anything!
Anymore it seems hit an miss with the quality of any 22 ammo.

Most finicky one I have is an AA conversion kit on a glock 26. But it has pretty much everything possible working against it - it's a conversion kit rather than a complete manufactured gun, it's got a short barrel, and it's not really-well broken in yet.

On ammo, the best-running 22lr overall in my garden ns is cci mini-mags.

My Beretta M70 in .22 eats anything reliably, my wife's Kimber Rimfire Target model prefers CCi Stingers in order to function flawlessly

I would have thought Mini-Mags would have been better in the Kimber than Stinger's. I didn't include Stinger's in my list because I primarily use them in rifles. They stovepipe in my Bersa's.
