Going PLINKING tomorrow with REAL guns, 45s, 38s, 44s, ARs an maybe a M1A.
Now for the next week lets hear how worthless they are.
ARs will not be 10" And any 9mm I take will NOT be a pocket nine.
Then Friday, I am going to go buy a 22 Hornet Ruger #1, Yes, a worthless single shot!

Last time I went shooting was last week - thursday iirc. Only shot a couple hundred rounds out of a couple different guns even then.

Too much real-life stuff in the way. I know I'm on here seemingly quite a bit lately, but it's all drive-by, in & out time for me; not a lot of 'hanging out' time.

Getting banking junk STILL lined out on the house build, as well as new bank accounts for just personal use since our old bank doesn't have any branches within an hour of where we now life afaik. Work stuff going strong; juggling all kind of things, and am actually enjoying it. Finally are getting traction on the last phase of our multi-year endeavor to build & live where we want to spend the rest of our lives. Still a lot of work to do, but loving having some actual traction on it.

What's wrong with plinking? I do some kind of plinking just about every day. It might just be a couple of magazines of .22 out of a handgun, or some bullseye shooting with a .223, .30/06, 8 MM, or 7.62X39MM. Sure I do combat stuff when I feel like it, .223 and 9mm mostly, but plinking is fun, and a box of .22 and a walk in the woods still gives me a kick. I taught combat shooting and nothing but combat shooting for 18 years, so blasting a stump or murdering a pine cone is just plain fun.

You don't find it ironic that while I was teaching and shooting the best firearms Uncle Sam could buy,and getting paid for it, you were spending the same amount of time rotting in a Federal Prison.
