The CZ P-09

I went ahead and bought one. My basic accuracy test for a new handgun is firing at a two inch bullseye at 25 yards from a rest. The P-09 passed easily. Now at 3, 7,15, and again at 25 yards from the holster. First shot DA, two more shots SA. It's a keeper. I can usually tell if a gun suits me after a couple cylinders or magazines. My recent purchase of a Ruger 9MM American was a flop. I knew it from the start. The CZ feels good. No failures of any kind with 100 rounds of Remington 115 FMJ and 40 rounds of Golden Sabre HP. The DA trigger is not as good as my CZ 75b, nor is the SA trigger. Still, it's a brand new gun and even if it doesn't lighten up it's still in my very satisfactory group. The gun comes with Small, Medium and Large inserts that are the rage today. It also comes with a de-cocker lever should you choose that mode of carry rather than cocked and locked for example. The sights are well defined and easy to pick up. Night sights are available from CZ USA. It feels weird to have a 20 shot pistol. I only carried 18 shots in my M-16. The P-09 comes with two magazines, cleaning brush, and rod. I'll need some more magazines, but that's probably it. I wanted a hi-cap polymer gun and I think I found the right one. The P-09 with it's brothers: CZ75b, P-01, .22 Kadet on PCR frame, and 82 with pimp grips.
