Concealed or Open Carry, a great Idea

I received an e-mail from a Police Forum that solved a problem that I and many others have. My pants seem to be shrinking and this causes my belt to head south with my CCW attached. Others, even without the shrinking pants syndrome are constantly hitching up the pants, especially when exiting an automobile. I carry a CZ P-01 with fourteen 9MM's on one side and a double pouch with two more 14 shot mags. That's a pretty good load. During the winter months, it's usually a Glock 21 with 13 shots, and a double mag pouch with two more magazines. More weight. It's annoying to constantly be fooling with your belt. Then the idea. Perry's suspenders. Plastic buckles, any size you need, they conceal under shirt, jacket or vest, and they hold your belt comfortably in place no matter what. The wide, elastic straps are very comfortable also and don't dig into you anywhere. For About $25.00 delivered, they are a cheap answer to the slipping belt problem.

I don't know, Terry. Wouldn't I look a little odd with suspenders?

Cute, 1911sr. Actually, strategically placed, they could be quite an enhancer and definitely an attention getter.

Good Idea....I have the opposite problem..at 4'8": and a skinny, wiry 146-150 pound frame,I like suspenders better than belt keepers because although I have no trouble making large handguns disappear, its hard for duty or CC gear to be adjusted for me otherwise.
When I hide my Combloc pistolas,a Comfort Tuk IWB works well for the Tokarev. When our duty gun was a GP100.38, my CC rig was a plain vanilla Uncle Mike rhumbrwak OWB...for the current(Glock 23), a Blackhawk Serpa workable for both functions, but good keeper works are a must for me.

Not for me. Lose the gut and lose the big heavy gun, and ferchrissakes, how many misses do you think that you can survive making, in a gun fight? All you have to do, unless it's shtf, is get behind solid cover, and wait for the cops to respond to all the noise, or dial them on your cell phone. Only a very few rds are necessary to get you to cover, and then to keep anyone from outflanking your cover. So why bother with the double stack mag at all, much less all the "spares"?

Why does this response sound famliar to me? A CZ P-01 is a "Big heavy gun" since when"? As for spares, the loudest noise in the world is a slide locking back on and empty pistol.

Maybe it is an age thing, 20 years ago I couldn't see the need for them. Recently I've been having the same problem with my Cowboy Action gunbelt.
