When did I say that? I said Illinois is NOT going to issue a CCW license to a non-citizen. I didn't say it wasn't legal, I said it was never going to happen.

I can get a CCW permit out of Connecticut, if I apply for one. I have to provide a copy my Canadian LTATT (Long Term Application to Transport). A number of Canadians have it, that are NOT resident aliens. Travelling through the Western States (except California) I don't feel a need for one.

I said that Illinois would never issue a Concealed Carry License to a Resident Alien, aka, "wifey". Melvin has taken the stance that I lied about it. I don't quite get how. Since I believe "wifey" is a figment of Melvin's imagination, it's a moot point.

I have IL concealed carry. So does most of my family and friends. Always with me somewhere, most of the time more than one.

Would you mind telling me how long it took from the time you applied until you received it? A good friend of mine said they drag their feet. His took almost five months.

Anger issues? The ability to control one's temper and to think before you act keeps you on the right side of the bars. You have yet to learn that. If you can go off that badly over something said on the Internet, how do you react in real life? Get a grip, John.

Mine took about 2 months, have heard stories of longer waits. My son moved from town to the country after he applied an that kinda confused the system a little, had to redo the paperwork.
