Call it what it is, murder. Pure, cold hearted, premeditated murder. It might be government sanctioned, but that does not in any way make it right.

You want to kill your own kid's ? Go ahead. You won't kill mine and I won't kill mine. But if you want to kill your own, I won't stop you. If that's your mind set you should have not bred any children in the first place. Buncha crap anyway. Stop trying to tell other people how to think.

In the end ,all you can do is to remember who you are dealing with NOW;and keep that info for future reference....and stay alive and free in the interim.

Thank you for the link. I posted it to another forum with the below added. It sums up my thoughts well: WARNING: I'm pretty stoic and I am pro-choice for early-term abortions, but if I was not against late-term abortions already - I definitely am - this would make me change my mind. I really don't encourage people that are emotional about babies to watch this video. This is not a joke or a ploy to trick people to watch this. It is SAD what some of our politicians allow to happen to babies that are developed long enough to try and survive on their own for as long as 8 hours after an induced early birth. I don't think this is abortion any longer - at this stage it really is murder. Anyone that thinks letting a baby die that can live on its own for hours is perfectly acceptable may not be the anti-christ...but he sure as heck might me in league with him! Those are just my thoughts, though. |

Hmmmm, ...... ? I wonder? If God is just and the psycho-spiritual phenomenon of physical reincarnation exists, then, one time you're the abusive parent; and, the next time you're the abused child. (Get it!) Lest you think that none of this is of any real concern to you, stop and reflect for a moment that provisions like this ARE included in America's proposed, 'health reform' legislation - Contemporary progressive legislation that IS going to apply to both the young and old, alike. Human life and dignity no longer seem to matter. We've entered into an age of heartless self-concern and disinterested self-serving BIG government. It takes only a brief look at history to recognize that the only way for any society to rectify its own decadence and immorality is through warfare and the spilling of copious amounts of human blood. No, I'm NOT a warmonger; neither am I advocating any form of civil unrest - I don't do things like that! I'm simply saying that, historically speaking, this is the way this sort of social predicament usually works itself out. Sadly, we used to be a moral (Judeo-Christian) society; however, we, also, seem to have forgotten all of the useful moral reasons, 'Why'. We used to have The Ten Commandments; but, today, we have a huge and inordinately expensive prison system along with highly intrusive security cameras watching us from all over town. Higher morality, concern for the wellbeing of others, and respect for the law are not just things that people should do; instead, higher morality is a list of the historical safeguards that allow any people to continue to prosper and exist. One historical truism seems to be that the more moral a society is, then, the longer it lasts and the better it does. Maybe Huxley and Blair weren't entirely right; but, we are presently living in a, 'brave new world' and 1984 has, indeed, already past! Betcha things are going to get a lot worse before they, even, start to get better. |

A type of moral tipping point.....Ya Pistolero;I can see that you have thought this through in a very level-headed fashion. my own pro-life belief merely coincides with the position taken by my family's faith(RC)...it is simply based in the cautious"if we do not KNOW exactly WHEN life begins-err on the side of caution and assume the vatican got something right when they said conception is the starting point"...oTOH,were someone to deliver replicatble proof via real scientific testin ( the way all medical &science questions are SUPPOSED to be resolved -not via politicking/judicial fiat);then I would say that anying AFTER that point would be wrong. And if the Church pulled another political decision out of its butt( the way Archbishop O'Malley slapped down those of us whoquestioned his send off of th enotorious pro-abortionist/cafeteria Catholic Ted Kenedy;why that would be a "deal breaker" for me. BTW,I am NOT what one would call a "good Catholic"-nor have I ever pretended to be...I simply figure thatsome moral codes MUST be inviolate-victimize and or discard the innocent and you are crossing a line I could not... Now let me get back to my pagan savage debauch involving lab quality drugs, two Brazilian barmaids ,a bottle of Reposado and a rubber pig mask.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
