in the style of UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES, to make Big Bro back down from a gun grab? I'm betting less than 5000 and maybe less than 500.

Every person here has killed as many jbt’s this week as you have – zero. For that matter, I don’t think that it would affect the size of my balls if I did. I did go shooting yesterday, but didn't kill anyone. Which is what usually happens when I go shooting, come to think of it.

There's a difference between being willing to do ugly things, and yearning to do ugly things. That difference is called ‘sanity’.

I also spent the last 2 days competing in a shooting match, nobody died. There are posters on this board that in past portions in their lives wore their countries uniform and engaged in activities that were life threatening either to them or those that they opposed. Not all of us had a safe posting where all we had to do to fill in the time was kick the crap out of a defenseless dog.

killing 5 and wounding 4 more in Dallas had every cop in that town tied up for most of a day. Wouldn't take very many, with silenced .22lr handguns, to turn the country upside down.

Do you ever actually go a single week without dreaming about killing somebody?

Melvin, have you ever given any thought to the fact, that you haven't got the greatest track record in getting away with any crimes that you have committed in the past? Much like any crimes you could commit in the future. Are you really looking to waste what is left of your life and die in prison?

You've made too much of your personal life public knowledge to have any luck with 'Billy Badass' posturing, John. Every time you've been approached by anything wearing a badge, you've meekly surrendered. Repeatedly. Over multiple decades. The historical reality here is more "Peewee Herman" than "Henry Bowman".

Life is imperfect but can actually be good; there's no reason to waste it, impotently hoping for the world to change.
